The perfect vacation base, October 25, 2009
By Avi Ziv (NJ, USA)
We were fortunate enough to stay at this wonderful B&B on two vacations. One was just us as a couple and one was myself and my two kids. In both cases we enjoyed the warm hospitality of Shula and Amir as well as the uniqueness of the setting. The owners who live next door strike the perfect balance of attention and care without being intrusive - a real art. Breakfast on the huge balcony looking over the ancient terraces and hills of Jerusalem is nothing short of breathtaking and the small village of Ein Kerem offers interesting walks, unique sights and great proximity to Jerusalem and the main roads elsewhere. During the last visit Shula saved me from a great inconvenience when I discovered my cell phone would now work in Israel. She simply handed me one of her phones and said "please use this one". Surprise packages of baked goods appear seemingly out of nowhere and expert advise on where to go sight seeing is always available. I can't wait to return for another stay
Israeli Heaven, March 16, 2009
By Giora Katz (Wiconsin)
If you are as addicted to Israel as I am and want to enjoy its wonders, this is the place for you. The apartment is completely private, beautifuly made, with a wonderful veranda and a view to die for. the bathroom and kitchen are first class. On top of it are Amir and Shula who are determined to make your visit a success. On the house there is wine, jams and fresh home made bread. Outside are some of the most refreshing restaurants that you can find. Around is Jerusalem, easily accesible and did we mention that we parked there evry night without having to drive around for a space? as a bonus you can get from Amir the best dependable information how to spend your time so you can go back and claim to have seen it all. A host true the word.
Quiet & Relaxing Accommodation, November 20, 2008
By Angela Hennies (Milwaukee, WI USA)
Loved this B&B! The owners, Shula & Emil, went out of their way to make me feel comfortable during my weeklong stay. The refrigerator was full of goodies when I arrived, and Shula even baked homemade bread on multiple occasions. In addition, the location is close enough to Jerusalem, yet in a quiet, peaceful setting. Note - It's a 20-minute uphill walk or a 5-minute bus ride to the edge of the city.
